Roomba Screws

Roomba Screws

Definitely non-standard. I couldn't find any that were adequately similar even at a big specialty hardware store.

They appear to be coarse thread sheet metal screws with the tips cut off. They are typically stainless steel, although in one of my Roombas, one screw was not - it was probably zinc plated steel. The odd screw was magnetic! It would be good if Roomba used plain zinc plated zinc screws so they could be installed with a magnetized screwdriver. It make re-assembly easier for the deeply inset screws on the brush deck. Use a #0 or #1 Phillips head screwdriver for the small screws and a #1 or #2 Phillips on the others. The important thing in using the screwdriver is not to damage the slotted screw heads.
